Matt Kali

BIO

Born in New York City and now based in Los Angeles, Matt Kali is a producer, songwriter, and creative mentor whose career bridges major label experience with independent innovation. Mentored by PJ Bianco (Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Arizona) and formally trained in music at Northeastern University, Matt has been writing and producing since the age of 15. His career milestones include signing a project to Warner Records, launching the independent artist project outsiderX (which has surpassed 100 million streams), and penning chart-topping hits - most notably the Top 5 Billboard single Shooting Star by XG. At Songtra, Matt brings his Billboard-tested expertise and independent grind together, guiding the next wave of artists to craft songs with intention, impact, and replay power.
